Watch this great BRIC TV video about the Gowanus and Newtown Creek Super Fund Sites,  SWIM Coalition member Willis Elkins from the Newtown Creek Alliance participated in the conversation with colleagues from Brooklyn College and 5th Avenue Committee. Through a fascinating discussion with Elkins, Zhongqi Cheng, associate professor at Brooklyn College, and Michele de la Uz, Executive Director of Fifth Avenue Committee, BRIC TV’s Video breaks down the Super Fund process generally and goes into detail about the EPA’s clean-up efforts currently underway in the Gowanus Canal and Newtown Creek.
