Deadline Today! Sample Letters for Citywide Stormwater Pollution Permit comments

Reminder! Today is the deadline for comments to the DEC on Citywide Stormwater Pollution Permit!

We’ve created sample letters for you to use to prepare your own: one longer and one simpler.

See our recent post about the revised draft.

It’s important to let DEC know that we are not satisfied with their revisions. All SWIM members and supporters are also encouraged to do so as well – see the DEC contact info below. Please also share your thoughts on the permit with SWIM, by writing to swimmablenyc@gmail.com.

The deadline for comments is Friday, April 10th. Comments should be directed to:

Steve A. Watts
NYSDEC Region 2 Headquarters
47-40 21st St
Long Island City, NY 11101
(718) 482-4997
